RailwaysI confess to being one of those with an interest in railways in general and steam trains in particular.

Quainton Road station, north of Aylesbury on the former Metropolitan Railway line. The line between Aylesbury and Bletchley via Verney Junction has been closed to passenger traffic for many years and the DMU shuttle from Aylesbury gave a rare opportunity for the public to travel part of the line. The old sidings are now home to a preservation society.
